I have worked at the intersection of regulation and emerging technology since 2000, when I co-authored the chapter Caught in the “Net”: SEC Educational Efforts and Enforcement with Harvey L. Pitt and Peter Schwartz in the second edition of Securities in the Electronic Age: A Practical Guide to Law and Regulation. Harvey Pitt later served as Chairman of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
